|Suzanne Shaffer, MS
President & CEO
Suzanne oversees the day-to-day operations of one the largest nonprofit addiction treatment centers in Georgia. She actively manages 138 employees, seven facilities, and an annual operating budget of over $6 million.
In 2012, the Board of Directors appointed Suzanne as President & CEO of the agency. Suzanne Shaffer has held various leadership positions throughout her 25+ year career at St. Jude's including COO, Director of Administrative Services, and Director of Development.
Suzanne holds a Master of Science in Health Services Administration from the University of St. Francis and a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources/Direct Services from Mercer University. Suzanne is a founding member of the Georgia Association for the Prevention and Treatment of Substance Abuse. Currently, she serves on the DeKalb County COC Planning Committee and is a member of the State Association of Addiction Services.
|Sue Wiggin, MS
Chief Financial Officer
Sue has over 20 years of experience in her role and is responsible for the organization's finance and information technology departments. Since joining St. Jude's Recovery Center, she has coordinated all functions of the agency's accounting system and $6 million budget. Sue is also responsible for the development and revision of multiple budgets, preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual reports, and preparation of all payroll and tax reports. Under her supervision, the organization has operated with a balanced budget and remains debt-free.
Sue has a Master of Science degree in Health Care Administration from University of St. Francis and a Bachelor of Science in Business with a concentration in Marketing Management from Miami University.
|Rusty Gray, LPC
Vice President of Clinical Services
Rusty joined St. Jude's Recovery Center in 2011. Rusty oversees all aspects of the clinical program for the agency. Rusty has 24+ years of clinical and managerial experience in treatment for substance use and co-occurring disorders - including 16 years of experience providing addiction treatment in the criminal justice system, including the Department of Corrections, Parole and the Federal Bureau of Prisons. Additionally, he has managed and consulted with government entities, managed health care organizations and private practices.
Rusty is a graduate of the State University of West Georgia with a master's degree in Psychology. Rusty has been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 1998.
